Martha Boers of Doll Fashion Boutique Antique Lilac shows how she created masks for her 1/3 size BJD girls for Mardi Gras. This video tutorial gives step-by-step instructions on assembling the masks shown.

Materials for Project:

– white cardboard
– 4″ x 2″ fabric for front of mask
– 4″ x 2″ felt for back of mask
– 4″ decorative trim for top of mask
– gold glitter dimensional fabric paint (and a second to compliment main colour scheme – if desired)
– 1 yard each of three different 1/8″ ribbons to compliment fabric
– assorted coloured feathers fluffs to match fabric & ribbons
– 3 ribbon roses to compliment colour scheme
– 1/8″ wooden dowel 9″ long
– 30 gauge wire
– assorted seed beads to compliment colour scheme
– 11 larger beads
– scissors
– Fray Check
– white glue
– pliers
– hot glue gun
