Dollmore released the first of the Trinity Girls in 2012. This year, the first boys have arrived, Baker and Danny. They are 122cm (48 inches) tall.

Q: Thank you for agreeing to tell me more about your new Trinity line boys!
A: I am so happy to hear that you want to write news about our Trinity male doll!
Q: When you first released the Trinity Girls, did you always plan to eventually create Trinity line boys as well?
A: Yes, we planned to release a Trinity male doll when we released a Trinity girl doll. However, there was a lot of hesitation because it was difficult to produce a large doll that was bigger than Trinity girl doll. We are very happy that we finally released a Trinity male doll now. We think that it was a good decision.
Q: How long has it taken from the beginning of the design stage to completion for the Trinity male dolls?
A: It took about 7 to 8 years. Since the doll is a large doll, we produced a prototype small-size doll several times first. The most changes were related to height. We think that we edited it more than 20 times.
At first, we focused on durability because it is a very large doll. After that, we added functional aspects and various details to make good dolls. It took a longer time than we expected because all of the above processes were produced manually.
Q: Can you tell me any more about the design process? What was the inspiration for the way the dolls were made to look?
A: Most of the inspiration for the dolls came from customer’s opinions. There were many opinions that it would be nice to have a Trinity boy doll. Even when I was making Trinity girl dolls, I also thought to make a Trinity boy doll to stand both of the dolls together. When I make a boy doll, I check the boy doll’s height, body shape, age, appearance, and so on. We also discussed a lot with the artist who made and designed the doll sculpture.
Q: How did you decide to dress them with the styles of suits chosen?
A: I think that a suit goes well with a grown boy doll. We consulted with a suit clothes designer to make a trendy suit for our Trinity boy dolls.
Q: How much does a Trinity boy weigh? How is he shipped?
A: The weight of a Trinity Male doll is about 12kg. However, we plan to improve the doll to reduce weight. We think that it’s a bit of a burden for many owners. Trinity Maly doll will be shipped in a doll bag and boxed like a Trinity girl doll.
Q: Why did you introduce two boys at once?
A: Customers can choose a makeup style or clothing style when we update two dolls together.
Q: Do you have the wigs for your largest dolls custom-made? I see the Trinity girl and boy wigs are the same size. Have you tried many girl’s wigs on the boys?
A: We tried Trinity girl doll wigs on the boy doll head when we took photos for new Trinity male dolls. But we found out that the white night doll head is much longer than the Trinity girl doll head, therefore, a Trinity girl doll wig doesn’t look beautiful on the Trinity Male doll head. So we are currently making new wigs for the Trinity male doll. We will release new wigs for Trinity Male dolls in the future.
Q: I saw the new frilled shirt available to fit Danny and Baker. Are more clothes coming soon?
A: We have made frilly shirts for Trinity Male dolls. Photos of new Frill shirts are currently being edited. We plan to update other basic style casual clothes in next week.
Q: Do you have doll stands for them available?
A: We are now using a Trinity Girl doll stand to stand a Trinity Male doll when we take photos, but the length is slightly different, and it is not stable when we stand a male doll. We are developing a doll stand for the Trinity Male doll now. We will release a new doll stand for the Trinity Male doll in the future.
Q: When can look forward to seeing more limited edition versions of Baker and Danny? Are more doll heads being designed yet?
A: We are developing two types of new doll heads for Trinity male dolls. It may take a long time, but we will try our best to show two doll heads within the year 2023.
Q: Is there anything you would like to add that we haven’t discussed?
A: Thank you for your interest and love in the birth of Dollmore Trinity boy dolls. Dollmore Trinity Boy will continue to be released in various styles in the future.
