We all know that Santa has a list, and is checking it twice…he wants to find out who’s “naughty” and “nice”. Well, Santa isn’t the only one who wants to know…so does BJDC!
Announcing the BJDC 2019 Photo Contest! The contest is open to photographers around the globe– both attendees and non-attendees are welcome to submit their photos! The theme of the 2019 convention is “Christmas All Year Round”. Your photograph can have a Christmas theme or depict the spirit of the holidays.
There are two categories to enter:
Naughty: Pictures should depict Santa’s “naughty” list—a doll being a little mischievous or, behaving badly…make us laugh with your funny photo!
Nice: Pictures should depict Santa’s “nice” list—a doll being sweet and generally being a good boy or girl…make us smile with your charming photo!
Rules:
Subject of the photo must be a BJD. More than one BJD can be used in each photo. No recasts.
No photos of a sexual, violent, obscene or inappropriate nature are permitted.
Submissions should be high resolution with at least 300 dpi and submitted in a .jpeg or .tiff format. Please do not include any watermarks or signatures on your photo.
Entrants can enter only 1 photo for each category.
Submissions must be the work of the photographer who submits the photo and cannot have been previously published or entered in another contest.
A winner will be chosen for each category.
Winners receive publication of their photo in the BJDC 2019 Souvenir Book and recognition online via social media. Winners will also receive their own copy of the BJDC 2019 Souvenir Book.
By submitting a photo, entrants agree to have their photo published online on our website, social media, and our Souvenir Book should the photograph be chosen as a winner.
Contest is open from Nov 20 to Jan 20. All entries must be received electronically by January 20, 2019 at midnight CST. Winners will be chosen by Jan 31 and announced via social media.
To enter, send your photo(s) via email to bjdcphotocontest@gmail.com. For each submission, provide the following information:
Your Name, Address and Contact email
Your Category Choice: Naughty or Nice
Sculpt (s): The sculpt of your doll or dolls in the photo
Description: A brief description of your photograph. Please keep your description to under 200 words.
